Competitions

Competitions are exciting and fun events. Whether you are competing, strapping, supporting someone you know, spectating or helping, they are great social days.

Southern Districts Dressage Club offers many competitions throughout the year, most at heavily discounted prices for members. For riders, competitions are a great way to prove your training is correct.

Our big competition, Southern Solstice, attracts riders from all around the State. Southern Solstice is now a regular fixture in dressage circles, due in no small part to the continued support of our sponsors, major and minor.

We'd like to thank Europa Saddlery Albany, SaddlesPlus, Healthway, Skywest, Department of Sport & Recreation and the Dressage Development Fund for their continued support.

This year is an exciting year for those who already compete and for those who are contemplating "having a go". The dates are fixed and you can download all relevant details including who the organiser is, the tests being offered, the entry form and of course the draw (when its ready). After the competition (just give us a while) see the results by clicking on the links below.

Disputes. From time to time there is the need to lodge a protest in relation to the results of a competition. In these instances it is essential to follow the SDDC Protest Protocol, and the current EA Dressage Rules, available through the links below:
